Johnny & The Mongrels bring their signature Swamp Funk & Bayou Soul grooves to the brand new, gorgeous surroundings of Burn Down in Denver, CO.
From the venue: "The name BurnDown originates from our building’s storied history, when a large fire swept through the onsite furniture shop and scorched hundreds of the structure’s original beams. We’ve carefully preserved and reinforced the vast majority of these charred posts, alongside the space’s distressed brick, adding a unique character to our otherwise modern aesthetic.
From the restaurant and second floor lounge, to our expansive outdoor spaces, our hospitality also reflects this blend of neighborhood culture and progressive influences. Standout local beers, wines on draft and a reliable cocktail list make the venue an everyday destination for a drink among friends, while an elevated bar menu of shareable small plates, satisfying entrees and desserts invites guests to linger for more than one round. On weekends, the focus shifts to our atrium stage and third floor courtyard, with music programming celebrating local artists and select traveling bands.
