Johnny & The Mongrels are on a mission to connect hearts and souls through their music, promising a journey of depth and authenticity. Their journey is adorned with laurels, including 5 Independent Blues Awards Nominations in 2021 and recognition on the 63rd Grammy Awards' first voting ballot in six categories. Notably, they clinched the 2019 Mile High Blues Society's International Blues Challenge Champion title.

Since their inception in 2015, Johnny & The Mongrels have graced premier venues and music festivals, sharing stages with such notable luminaries as Ivan Neville, George Porter Jr, and Marc Broussard.

Their debut album, "Creole Skies," produced by Joe Michaels and Scott Sharrard (Greg Allman Band/Little Feat), released in July 2020, symbolizing a fusion of rock and R&B with Bayou influences. Recorded at Dockside Studio in Maurice, Louisiana, the album garnered acclaim and accolades, providing a sonic journey influenced by the spirit of New Orleans.

Johnny & The Mongrels' sophomore album, "Magnolia & Pine," unveiled in December 2022, features the hit single "Love’s Got Something To Do With It." Recorded at the same iconic studio, the album introduces special guest musicians, further enriching their signature sound.
